Buildings 84 and 113 Open House

The Studebaker National Museum, in partnership with the Renaissance District, is hosting a behind-the-scenes tours at historic Studebaker buildings 84 and 113. Guided tours will last approximately 30 minutes — minimum suggested donation of $5/per person.

For an additional donation, guests will be given exclusive access to the 6th floor, with a special elevator ride to each floor.

Admission fees will support rebuilding the Studebaker Guard House on the Studebaker Renaissance District property.

The guard house will be reconstructed near the southeast corner of Studebaker Building 113 on Lafayette Boulevard, inside the Renaissance District — the 80-block radius where the Studebaker complex was located. This District is working to redefine South Bend as it is being developed into a multi-use Technology campus.
Future generations will be housed within the very walls that Studebaker built to facilitate their innovation. Repurposing the facility honors the legacy and innovation that began there in the 1800s. Restoring the guard house will honor the thousands of men and women who filed past over the years — a lasting legacy to the new occupants of the enduring innovative spirit of Studebaker.
